I have enjoyed photography for most of my life. I got my first camera, a film one, when I was 9 and it unfortunately fell off the roof of the car a few years later never to be found. Thankfully I am a bit more responsible now and don't put my camera on the roof when I dash back into the house for something and forget it there. I advanced into the DSLR world of cameras in 2007. In 2015, a very patient friend decided it was time I start shooting in manual so endeavored to teach me all I needed to know to make the change from automatic. He may just highly regret ever attempting that, I'm still needing additional pointers to this day!! While I enjoy portrait photography, I love getting out into nature and capturing photos of birds and other animals.
