I have enjoyed the thrill and joy dressing as a woman and being Jennifer as far back as I can remember. I discovered that my mother's and sister's clothes drew great interest and I found that wearing lingerie, dresses, and skirts created intense pleasure. I can think back to the age of seven when I discovered my mother's silk lingerie. The delightful aroma of perfume. As I got older the need to be female ebbed and flowed. Whenever I had a chance I wore lovely feminine clothing. I enjoyed being the girl I had dreams about being.

The years rolled by. I fell in love with a lovely woman and the dreams and urges faded. But like we all know a few years later those familiar feelings and needs returned. My wife went along with it at first but like many of you know it did not last long. Not to long after we went our separate ways.

Another woman entered my life. I purged. Several years elapsed and yes, the desire to dress and be the woman of my dreams returned stronger than ever. This time however because of the internet I started to learn about myself. At first dressing was strictly closet dressing. Eventually I met other T-girls and even Jennifer stepped in the real world a few times. What a rush that was.

My need to connect with my feminine spirit continues and my wish to transition is becoming stronger. I treasure my feminine side and I try to go there as often as I can. I came out to my wife not long ago. That was a big step. Fortunately she is learning how to deal with it. She is allowing me some girl time even when she is around. In the long term I would love to be Jennifer full time. I have lived as Jennifer 24/7 for several days and I know I want to be a woman. My gender therapist agrees. HRT is the next step.

And recently I attended my very first gender conference. Keystone will always be remembered as the time my life changed for the better. This girl is getting her wings. It's a matter of time.
