I am an amateur photographer living just north of Aberdeen in the north-east of Scotland.

I started taking and processing my own landscape and car rally pictures many years ago in the days of film, developer and fixer. For many years my photographs were mainly slides taken while hill walking and munro bagging in Scotland before moving on to railway pictures as the knees began to suffer.

More recently I have returned to landscape photography with digital cameras and mostly take HDR pictures.

Even more recently, I have purchased a second-hand medium format Bronica ETRSi film camera - a type which I could not have afforded when I started in photography all those years ago.
