My Photographic Work

I have covered many different types of photography over the years, starting in the late 70's with my love of Black and White photography including the developing and printing in my own darkroom.

I joined the Royal Photographic Society in the early eighties and soon gained an LRPS distinction in 1982. My panel was selected and published in the RPS journal (April 1983)

Also in 1983 I achieved an ARPS (Associateship Royal Photographic Society ) in pictorial Black and White prints.

Since that time I have given many talks and presentations and also staged my own print exhibitions.

I am a CPS gold member (Canon Professional Service ) and use mainly Canon equipment.

The many types of photography I have done over the years include...Candid, People, landscape, Travel, Pictorial, Music photography mainly Jazz, Classic and Historic Motorsport and more recently Wildlife especially Birds.

The enjoyment and pleasure of photography in the digital age allows for greater creativity, endless possibilities and no longer being confined to working in a Darkroom.

However, anyone who started out developing films and producing their own prints in the darkroom days, will often have a good understanding of techniques and be able to produce top quality prints.

I have produced several books from my photographs as I feel the need to have a printed copy after hearing sad tales of crashed hard drives, when all your files

could be lost.

If you have a collection of family history photos, I strongly recommend you consider creating your own books and publish using someone like Blurb etc.

I hope you enjoy viewing some of my pictures here.
