My glass figurines are inspired in nature and living creatures, such as spiders, bees, wasps, mantis, ants, beetles, etc. I love and admire nature, and I found that glass is the perfect medium to capture the beauty of it's creatures.

The "aja!" moment came to me during a trip to Venice and Murano in Italy, where I had the opportunity to witness several glass flameworking masters and their spectacular work. At that point I realized that flameworking will be the way for me to connect my love for nature and the seductory mystery of glass. I took a couple of flameworking lessons here and there, and at some point I continued learning by doing; yes, making mistakes but mostly just enjoying the process.

Every one of my pieces is individually handcrafted in my little glass studio in Georgia. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do enjoy making them!
