Most of the photos that I take are of landscapes, architectural features or flowers; all of these are things that I enjoy looking at and I like the process of thinking about taking a photo, even when I don't take one.

In the past, I lugged about an SLR, a full set of lenses and a tripod but a back injury ( an occupational hazard of ageing ) put paid to that, so these days, I use a compact or a mobile phone .

I'm not a huge fan photoshopping as I want photos to look like what I saw.
