I'm an aspiring photographer who may have left it too late. I like all sorts of photography but particularly love combining my love of music with my love of photography. I've been shooting photos from my position in the crowd with a compact camera until recently - not very satisfactory results but good practice as it's usually not permitted to take in a DSLR to concerts. Now I have a lovely 50mm 1.4 prime lens for my Nikon D5000, I can get some decent shots, especially when I manage to get a pass for the photographers' pit (not often but very gratefully received when it does happen!)
