Bianca Tosti s'est inspirée de ses nombreux voyages autour du monde pour trouver une matière à ses bustiers d'art. A la fois se situant dans l'univers de l'imaginaire de la mode mais aussi dans l'aboutissement d'un objet d'art, c'est à partir d'éléments naturels ; coquillages, nacre, perles, galuchat mais aussi de fragments de dentelles, de broderies venant de l'Inde, de strass, de boutons qu'elle developpe une humeur autour de différents thèmes ; l'orientalisme, la modernité, la sérénité...par un travail de minutie, d'harmonie et de détail.

 

"Ma créativité est guidée par mes yeux qui inlassablement regardent tous ces boutons, ces couleurs, ces formes et qui déclenchent en moi un voyage." Dans la philosophie bouddhiste le bouton est un symbole qui sert à garder la chaleur et à libérer la lumière quand on l'ouvre.

My work is Quite new in that world of Art but trendy and unique

 

we have to save everything and stop throwing :

 

I need Buttons , leather , lace, skin of fish skate to complete my pieces

Diagnosed with cancer in 2010, i spent 25 years of my life travelling as a Tour guide

 

travelling in the World .

 

so i had to spend one year at home I wanted to get my mind busy .

 

my mother was a seamstress when i was young , i found a lot of buttons at home and i

 

start . the first one took me 9 months like a childbirth

 

What is fantastic for me is : That i have No Art formation and i do not even

 

known how to make a straight line

 

No Disease, no Art for me

 

old ladies gave me boxes of buttons to go on that way and now here i am

 

I work looking through my boxes of buttons ans start choosing some.

 

Time by time they find their place on the mannequin and a masterpiece is usually

 

born after 3 and that become a art plastic sculpture

 

but don’t asked me the finality of the sculpture, i never known really . no design

 

Great things are done by series of small thinks brought together
