After unsuccessfully trying to photo the Northern Lights with a mobile phone a few years back, I decided to search the internet to see what went wrong!

It turned out I required something called a DSLR (whatever that was!) and I ended up buying the Pentax K-3 and have built up a substantial lens collection since I bought the camera in 2014. This is an excellent camera and has served me very well indeed. But I now hear Full Frame calling, and next up for me will be the Sony A7RIII (or A7RIV - I'm in no rush).

I am just an amateur who takes my camera with me whenever I travel and I thoroughly enjoy my hobby.

I have a long long way to go on my photography journey, and I am continuing to learn. Flickr is a place of inspiration for me.
