I am fascinated by animal behavior and landscapes in general, so nature photography is my main passion.

All the pictures shown here are in FullHD resolution, and can be shown in a slideshow on your TV. Many pictures were shot with a Nikon D800 and D500 dslr camera and a variety of lenses.

In spring 2020 I switched to mirrorless using a Nikon Z6 fullframe camera with the Nikon Z 24-200mm f/4-6.3 lens for my landscape and macro work and the very light and excellent Nikon 300mm f/4 VR (usually in combination with one of the three Nikon teleconverters) for wildlife work.

In october 2021 I acquired the Sony RX10iv bridge camera, a photographic swiss army knife with a focal range (full frame equivalent) of 24 - 600mm in a package a little over 1 kilo.

My latest acquisition is the Nikon Zf, a fantastic retro style camera but with a very powerful processor. The bird eye AF detect mode is stunning.

All pictures are taken in the Netherlands, mostly near the Northsea coast where I live.
