I am a 68 year old widower - have lived in the East Bay Area my entire life - Flickr activity has assuaged my latent creative urges in the recent years ( although starting last year I began picking up the pencil and pens and trying my hand at sketching, doodle-drawing and cartooning again) -- I am a "non-practicing" alcoholic - (no alcohol since 1988) and I quit smoking nearly 23 years ago - I like reading the funnies and listening to music - mainly [ almost to the extent of its being exclusively ] Classical, but sometimes Jazz and sometimes Folk and/or Bluegrass - I enjoy getting out and about (and taking photographs when I do) -- I guess I'm a real city person and don't get out of the confines of my home city very often at all, but I am content with just going to the same places I go to nearly every day and socializing with my acquaintances / friends
