I am a 58 year old recent widower - have lived in the East Bay Area my entire life - Flickr activity has assuaged my latent creative urges in the recent years - I am a "non-practicing" alcoholic - (no alcohol since 1988) and I quit smoking 13 years ago - I like reading the funnies and listening to music - mainly Classical, but sometimes Jazz and sometimes Folk and/or Bluegrass - and when not staying at home with my pets, I enjoy getting out and about (and taking photographs when I do) -- some other kinds of outdoorsy activities I have been missing out on for a number of years and I wouldn't mind picking up on some of them again sometime soon .....
