For me, photography is a diary. An expression of thoughts and sensations as a novel without an end where you can complete the story by yourself. Photos are like glasses. They provide a different perspective on experiences and the world. You see the little things that you would normally miss. Creating a photo is a physical encounter with your most important personal ideas and philosophical concepts. I enjoy shooting black and white. With black and white I'm dealing with a pure form of image. It strips everything back to its fundamental building blocks of light and dark.

In the street I look for rhythm, mood, chaos or structure, love or loneliness and the energy of everyday encounters. Sometimes inspiration comes from a conversation, from sound or a song, or from a book.

I wander around aimlessly, carried away by the experience of perceived reality. Inspired by emotions surrounding me. Thankful for the illusion of freedom.
