I am new to the world of photography. I was given my Canon EOS Rebel T5i for Christmas in 2014. It came with my EF-S 18-55mm F/3.6 and a EF-S 55-250mm F4.6.

Since then I have been teaching myself through trial and error and tutorials within the world of photography. I am finding I am enjoy portrait photography the most. Luckily, I have a perfect model to help me test out new techniques, my 5 year old son Memphis who you will see a lot of on my page.

In July 2015 I purchase my EF 50mm F/1.8 II lens. This has become my primary lens thus far. I absolutely love the quality of photos it produces for portraits.

I have been venturing out of my comfort zone lately and started offering my services to friends and family who can't afford a photographer. This has been an interesting journey for me since it has given me some challenges and different subjects to photograph but, I am loving the practice.

I am planning on getting into some landscape and nature photography over the winter. The snow around here is so beautiful and I am hoping I will be able to capture and play around with the images I get.
