years have flown by since my last update!

Anyway, I'm still here, a bit older, hopefully wiser but with a few more wrinkles!

I finally retired from work for good, 2 years ago. they say as you get older time moves quicker and I think it's true, annoyingly.

I had a year plus as a doctors receptionist and then circumstances meant retirement was the right thing to do. I spend my time walking, cooking, gardening, church, meeting friends, trips to London and weekends away when possible.

I had a few hospital visits and stays for trans related issues, nothing else planned so I can now relax and chill!

I've been to Brighton many times, what a lovely place, I often meet friends for weekends away, go to Trans Pride there every year, shop in the Lanes and go to the clubs and bars, dancing is a must!. I would say it's about the most promiscuous place I've ever been to!!

I'll record it here to remind me, 31m views now, unbelievable but it inspires me to keep my 'blog' going here, a good record of Nigella's life!

December 2019

I can't believe 18 months have passed since my last update! 2.5 years now living as Nigella, and life is amazing! I've been working at Stansted airport as an airport ambassador in the security search area, helping people get through security and I love the job, I meet 1000s of people every week and hopefully just show them that trans people are like anyone else working to pay the bills! although we are actually rather special I think, but I'm biased a bit.

I live on my own at the moment, did have a partner but that didn't work so I'm hopeful of another in due course, God will provide as he always does. I have a very strong faith which guides my life, indeed changed it for the second time in the past few years. Transition was amazing but my faith even more so. Share the love is my life raison d'etre now.

So I say live the truth if you can, for with it comes peace and happiness, not easy I know but my life is now amazing, despite what I've given up. love to all other trans people out there, life is not easy but the rewards are worth the struggle. oh, nearly forgot, over 20 million views, how did that happen, thanks all, you are amazing! xxx

May 2018

Ummm, busy year so far. Well, I changed my name by deed poll, got my new passport, that was so exciting! New driving licence, changed bank accounts etc... So much to do but I think I've changed everything over now and I feel so much better for it.

I had my skiing trip, first travel abroad as Nigella, skiing was great. I stayed in a catered chalet with 12 strangers, such fun and I was quickly accepted. Skiing femme meant learning a new method of skiing, ie with grace and elegance, ha, I think I've got it now!

For those of you who follow my pictures you'll know the saga of my first job, so good, then lost my job... But another one starting in a few weeks... Very exciting. Anyhow, life is great, Nigella blossoms! And the icing on the cake, a born again Christian as well... So amazing! Good luck to everyone in your own personal journeys. Xx

January 2018

Just a short update, although I do tend, to prattle on a bit! A new year and lots on the agenda, the biggest things planned are changing my name by Deed Poll, due in a couple of weeks, and then all the official places I have to change my name with. Really important for my gender clinic to prove my commitment if I want surgery... And no surprises there, as I do!

Off skiing shortly, first time travelling as Nigella so that is really exciting. However the biggest thing is the sheer joy I have with life, it has purpose, excitement and unbounded happiness! I really can't believe how my life has changed since I started my transition.... Yes, challenges but oh girl they are overshadowed by life being so exciting and so wonderful. My children accept me, the vast majority of friends have as well so someone sure is looking over me!

Oh and just to say, wow! Over 10 million views which is hard to believe, so thanks to all of you who pop by for a look Xx

September 2017

7 months since I updated and wow, what a lot has happened. My family, siblings and kids all now know and have been pretty good. My wife and I have parted ways and I have moved house and am in the process of settling in, doing it up and making new friends, they only ever see Nigella as I'm now full time, great new neighbours.

I started transitioning and hormones in May, I went private in the end as the wait for the NHS was too long, applied in Feb and still waiting, ill change over once they catch up with me in their own time.

Life is good and every day brings a new excitement, so happy and now I know that as life changes, grab the chance and go for it... But oh boy you have to get through the hard times! Thanks to all my friends here who have consistently supported me this year, you are all fantastic and made my life changes so much more manageable. 2 years now since I joined Flickr, wow, I've come a long way xx

Feb. 2017 Ten months since my last update, how time flies and what have I got up to! well, lots of personal firsts: pedicure, leg wax, rode my motorbike en femme, had a skiing holiday as a woman, jogged down the bank of the River Thames in a leotard, visits to TransAngels night club, commenced facial laser hair removal, started the process to be seen by a Gender clinic and most importantly, made loads of friends who have helped me transform my life!

Barely an hour goes by every day when I dont think about my Trans life....it is all consuming, full of the happiest times of my life and also full of angst....worry about my family and what will happen when I finally start to transition and whether they will accept me as a woman.....and it will be soon as time is not on my side!

And finally, the stats.....if I dont make a note here I will forget just how far I have come on.....over 5 million views, so many lovely comments from viewers,,,funny, supportive, yes some crude but so be it, but mostly friends being friends and sending their love....for which I'll always be grateful.

6 months on Flickr, amazing how time flies and amazing what fun I've had!

I'm feeling lonely still as a tgirl! I would love to meet another t-girl in or around Essex, coffee, lunch, shopping of course! I need to chat trans stuff so if you are out there please drop me a line. Thank you all again for taking the time to look at my pictures. XXX

update 2 months into flickr,....I've had a great time so far and had lovely comments from so many nice people, so thank you to you all, I love hearing what you think of my pictures!

I now realise why women shop so much... the clothes are great, unlimited in types, so pretty, so colourful and make me feel so happy when I dress.... and don't even mention the shoes, makeup, hair etc! I now spend a great deal of time pondering trans issues, we'll see where it takes me...

Dec 2015, things move so fast! every time I go out dressed I feel so alive, the best I've felt in years, electric and buzzing, wonderful! so much so that even in male attire I look at and engage other people in a similar way, ie back with a smile inside as well as outside.

I did the Cogiati test the other day, (thank you Sarah for showing me that) came out a 35, androgynous apparently, or neither male or female, who knows, but maybe that explains my occasionally kinky quirky side.

Thanks again to all the lovely friends I've met and chatted to! You are brilliant!

February 1 2016. new profile photo, more me I think! I'm blonde which I think is the direction I'm going, but who knows, it only takes a visit to a wig shop and I'll probably fall for something different! XXX
