l have been in to photography now for the last 5 years. l do not always follow the rules of composition. l am more of a point and shoot kind of girl. l carry my Nikon coolpix S7000 compact in my pocket with me most places just incase I see something that would make a good photo. l also have a Nikon D3200 DSLR which I take with me when I go hiking or visiting nature reserves or interesting historic places. l also use it to take photos of birds with my big lens.

l don't have a lot of expensive kit and I have limited photo processing knowledge. l use photo shop express on my pad to do basic editing it's all I can afford at the minute. l hope to invest soon in Photoshop elements so I am able to do a bit more with my photos.

photography is my hobby and my relaxation l find it very therapeutic. it also fits in nicely with my other hobbies of boating hiking and visiting historic places I have learned a lot of new things since taking it up as I like to know all about the things I photograph.
