I started with Canon SLR film cameras (AE1 and A1) in 80/90s and returned to photography in 2014 after a long break when I purchased a digital Nikon 3200 DSLR with 18-55 and 70-200 lenses . Since bought a Nikon 200-500mm lens followed by a D500 cameras to capture birds in flight. Recently purchased a D750 for portraits and landscapes.

There is usually a lack of light here in UK and particularly during the winter months. Luckily the improved low light performance of modern DSLRs at high ISOs is helping and freezing birds in flight has become easier.
