I'm a student at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. Busy doing my MSc in Environmental Science with my main focus being in remote sensing and GIS.

I started photography about 3 years ago. I'm self-taught and addicted. Fortunately, being a student, I've had lots of opportunities to visit some beautiful areas for projects and its a common sight seeing me dragging my photography stuff around the countryside. Most of my friends duck for cover every time I take my camera out in fear of me taking their portraits but I think that adds to the fun :P I consider myself an advanced beginner at photography although I'm willing to try anything I read about. I still have lots to learn so any comments/criticism (provided its constructive) is welcome :D
