Ottawa Architects 150 is as a Sesquicentennial project to mark the 150th anniversary of the Canadian Confederation and recognize the contribution of local architects to the development of our capital city, Ottawa.

At its root Ottawa Architects 150 it is the gathering of information and the development of a database that may be of use to present day and future researchers. It primarily strives to identify those who were architects, how they were organized in practices and what buildings they designed. It creates a central repository for information about architects.

As part of the project almost 2000 photographs has been collected, some of which are posted here.

It is an initiative of Ottawa Regional Society of Architects and is generously funded by the Ontario Association of Architects and the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada.
