I retired early from a stuffy office job due to ill health, and bought myself my first decent camera around 10 years ago. It was the best thing I've ever done. Being outdoors in a Scottish glen, admiring the mountain views or on our rugged coastline, is the best medicine in the world. I totally lose sight of everything else when I am behind my lens. It's definitely my happy place.
