You will notice that the bulk of my photos are of wildlife. My interest in wildlife started when I was about 12 years old and has continued for over 50 years. I didn't buy my first camera until I retired about 5 years ago and it is probably the best purchase I have made in my life.

My main focus is on insects and I specialise in moths. When I lived in Warwickshire I was the County Recorder for Micro-moths. I now live in a lovely village in Derbyshire. I am on the committee of my local Conservation Trust and have recorded over 1000 species on my local Nature Reserve. I was recently elected onto the committee of Butterfly Conservation East Midlands where I was appointed the Moth Officer for Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire.
