I'm based in the UK Midlands and have been enjoying my photography for some forty years. Through most of the 80s and 90s I did a lot of freelance sports photography for newspapers and magazines, before dropping that to concentrate on the business that I ran. I picked it up again a few years back and now spend time shooting grassroots sports on a freelance basis for a regional newspaper. I currently use a couple of Nikon Z9 bodies along with Nikkor 400mm f2.8, Nikkor 300mm f2.8, Nikkor 70-200mm f2.8, Nikkor 24-70mm f2.8, and Nikkor 14-24mm f2.8 lenses. I also use a couple of Nikon D850 bodies as backup. I also shoot a variety of 1940s events along with various other subjects, but I suppose sport still rules.
