Hello and thank you for visiting my page.

I have enjoyed living in Barcelona since 2004, but even many years earlier I started visiting Catalonia on vacations. Within only 1 to 2 hours driving from my home, I can be at the beaches of Costa Brava or the pre-Pyrenees mountains. Although both are a bit crowded for my taste at the peak of the tourist seasons, the rest of the year they are definitely among the most beautiful places in Europe. In addition to all the natural marvels, the Catalan countryside is rich with cultural and historic sites. Within a small radius you often find archaeological remains from centuries BC, ruins from the Romans, and castles, churches or villages from the Middle Ages. Both my love for hiking and my visit in this impressive country have surely helped fuelling my passion for photography.
