Doncaster Ramblers is part of the national charity, the Ramblers. Apart from walking, the Ramblers is involved with local authorities to monitor and maintain the footpath network, to ensure that future generations can enjoy the pleasures of walking.

We organiize walks of about 10 miles every Tuesday and Saturday throughout the year, monthly walks on Thursdays, and Wednesday evening walks in the summer months.

Some of our members volunteer to assist the DMBC Rights of Way Department to monitor the state of the footpaths, and we have teams who help to cut back undergrowth, repair waymarks, stiles, etc.
