Ive slowly gotten into photography more so now than ever before.There is so much information and knowledge to gain out there and I'm trying to take in as much as possible. I have always been a decent artist when it comes to different mediums as in oil, water color, acrylic, graphite, but there is something exquisitely beautiful about the images that can be captured in an instant. Photography a very rewarding style of artistic capability.

The d3000 has served me well for the last couple years and has been a great starter. I'm still learning many techniques with the camera to include editing but I'm certainly ready to step it up. I've been looking into the Fuji x-t1 and other mirrorless systems. I like that retro look but more importantly the feel and sheer weight. They seem very capable of good outdoor scenic photography and staying weather sealed is a plus since it will be going on backpacking trips.

Anywho, I'm excited to keep learning new things and continue to improve on such a wonderful hobby.
