One of Connate's many strengths is the ability to probe and mine the nonverbal world; the realm of the unsayable. When he converges onto this realm in captured images, whether it is a sprig or a blossom, a face of a child or and old woman, or a blurred abstract passage, he will bring to it a strong sense of compositional order, a calm sense of design, and an eye for beauty and humor that makes his photographs memorable. He is a very sensitive architect in how he renders a photograph. Sometimes, he is very specific about what he wants within an ordinary candid street snap that belies its simplicity. One senses that he has carefully and meticulously selected his few cameras with a very serious intent, all fine instruments for delicate work, and he has astounding control of each of them as there are moments of true beauty in passages that abound within a single image. He is strong in both still life and candid photography. He writes very poetically as well, and within the organic mixture of word and image there is much take in, I sense that he has more to say with each photograph's text, and ultimately the visual takes over and becomes the guide. One can look at some of his images with pleasure again and again, and each time you revisit his work, you will see a tremendous depth of feeling that you cannot easily put a finger upon, yet it settles you into his world. If you have seen his work and feel you know it already, beware, he has much more to say as his career moves forward.

Read lessStreet photography is something spontaneous, that's for sure. But this guy turns each spontaneous moment into something more personal with his magical touch and his insight. They're real, raw, yet magical all at the same time... Love what you do, make it lasts!
a great variety of works from street photography to nature . i especially love the dimming dreams and fading realms set; very dreamy, surreal, contemplative and at times surrounded by a cloud of fascinating darkness..he shows so much potential as an artist. glad to be a contact!
I like how he put flowers between the street shots - its interesting to see how far humanity has strayed from nature
