I grew up in Manchester, England but moved to Japan in 1999. Have lived in various parts of the country in including Niigata, Hokkaido, Osaka and Okinawa.

I used to take all my photos with the Pentax 67II system. Since June 2010, I also use the Pentax 645D medium format digital system. This gives me the resolution and image quality of medium format with the faster workflow of digital.
