Sergio Montagud Alario, a biologist and entomologist, brings more than two decades of experience in the preservation of entomological collections. He currently holds the position of curator-researcher at the Natural History Museum of the University of Valencia (MUVHN). Previously, he worked as a curator at the Valencian Museum of Natural History - Torres Sala Entomological Foundation, as a biological technician at the Department of Environment of the Valencian Government, and as a research technician at the Cavanilles Institute of Biodiversity and Evolutionary Biology (UV). His primary areas of interest focus on the evolution, phylogeny, and conservation of invertebrates, as well as the preservation of the genetic heritage they represent.
