I travel a lot, as can be witnessed from the numerous places I have illustrated. I am retired so travel for pleasure (although when I was working I spent many years living overseas - before digital photography of course). I try to get away most months and enjoy photographing places, buildings - both historical and modern - scenery, landscapes, coastline etc. I do not like crowds, especially tour groups, and try as best to keep them out (or edit if necessary). I have four cameras but all quite simple and not too expensive; actually my favourite is a small Casio, which the viewer can see in my albums. There are not many countries of interest to me that I have not visited and some will be lined up for the future, so keep glancing and enjoy what I attempt to project in 'calendar-style' images, but the weather is not always favourable!

I also enjoy visiting art galleries and museums and try to include art works of places, such as New York, Paris and Italy. These have been incorporated into separate albums that focus on the creativity of painters over the centuries. Some countries I return to such as the USA and Germany.
