I have had an interest in Photography for the last 15-20 years and have developed professionally within this time Initially grounding myself in the basics of photography then progressing onto and including the digital side.

My personal work interests are Wildlife and motor racing photography however due to the stunning backdrop of the Northumberland coast and the lake district I have become addicted to Landscape Photography. Feeling the need to document the landscape as it changes Through the seasons.This has not been confined to Rural landscapes as I find that Urban landscape can capture a moment in time,tell a story and calm down the hustle and bustle of a city or town.

Over the last 9 years I have been heavily involved in course development. Specifically designing courses which can be accessed by a wide variety of people within schools and the wider community.

I currently Deliver GCSE and A level courses in Lens Based Media within an art department of a Secondary school in North Tyneside . Working with such enthusiastic group of young people & staff as well as the students’ initiative and ability to push the boundaries of photography Thrills me and allows me to constantly look at things in new even more creative ways. I also gain personal satisfaction from passing on knowledge and skills I have learnt over the years onto people of similar interests.
