I have been enjoying photography for many years now. I have covered events and weddings as well as aviation photography, at airshows and airports, air to air and on the ground!

More recently I have found enjoyment, reward and relaxation from photographing birds and wildlife. My local nature reserve is Warnham, this is a special place for a good variety of birds, the hides offering a place to view many surprise visitors. Together with my Husband Ian we enjoy exploring nature reserves, our favourites being Warnham, Titchfield Haven, Pulborough Brooks, Arne, Radipole lake, Minsmere and Rainham Marshes. We have also visited John Stanton's Miller's Wood at Handcross, this is an amazing set up that enables you to get fantastic close shots of otherwise distant birds.

During the lockdown, wildlife photography became so much more important to me. I worked in aviation and I was furloughed for most of lockdown. So I had time on my hands to sit in my pop up hide in the garden or visit local places with my camera. I am enjoying getting to know my camera and absorbing the lives and behavior of our garden birds. Wildlife photography is taking my mind off things and keeping me calm and sane, it's good for the soul and general well being!

Lockdown has taught me to make time for nature and it will reward you.
