As for me…. I have intermittently owned or used a camera for professional reasons (in my work in the field of applied science) or personal use over the past 15 years or so. These cameras have either been Pentax film or digital ‘point and shoot’ types. Following the introduction of reasonably affordable full-frame DSLRs, I jumped in and purchased a Nikon D600. I was hooked! I’ve been on a (rapid) learning journey since then.

Although I’m not a big user of social media, I love spending time admiring the images / learning from those who post photos. I also like to view the images of FlickR contacts on a fairly regular basis. This means that I have limited capacity to add new contacts or return new ‘follows’, much as I might like to. As the concept of reciprocity resonates with me, I interact as much as time permits :)
