Bridport Skittles League

The league is for the game of alley skittles that is played in Pubs and Clubs on purpose build wooden alleys around the Bridport area, there are 9 pins stood up in a diamond formation and each player gets 3 balls to try and knock them down. The game is over 10 hands with each sides players throwing in turn.

The league has 4 divisions of 12 teams of 6 that can be either single sex or mixed. Each play a game at home and away during the season that lasts over the winter from September to early May, there are also during the season team cup games and competitions for 1 player, pairs and 4’s both single sex and mixed.
