Elder Park was given for the people in Govan in 1885.

The Friends group takes care of that gift.

We promote recreation, education and advocate community development. We support environmental protection and the improvement of the natural environment. We try to secure recreational facilities and activities. We want the park to continue to improve the conditions of life for those whose lives happen in and around this important green space.
