Welcome to the William Bossert Flickr page.

A big majority of my captures are rail-fan photography largely consisting of New Jersey Transit equipment in different weather conditions, old, rare equipment or unusual moves not always common focused mostly in Morris County New Jersey, but also includes parts of the New Jersey Transit’s Hoboken division with freight class 1 and short line railroads. From my travels I include captures of railroads from other states, interesting roadside attractions (Rt. 66 included), classic cars/trucks, retro style signage and architecture with a pop culture feel to it. Personal family & friends captures are posted as well, along with some limited artistic looking landscape mood setting photos which will now ceased to be posted here and instead be featured on my new coming soon sister Flickr page. (yet to be named)

About me:

I am an artist, illustrator, designer, photographer, animator and a big Erie Lackawanna railroad fan having grown up with that railroad during my childhood in Morris County NJ, Sadly you will not find too many photos here of the EL taken by me. I was a big TV watcher of shows like; All in the Family, Batman, Carol Burnett Show, Emergency, Bugs Bunny and MASH from the late 60’s to early 70’s (just to name a few. The list really is too long) so I am always on the look out for pop culture captures in my travels. I love to capture images from a unique perspective and I am always snapping away with either my cell phone or my Canon DSLR.
