Thank you for looking at my pictures. I do try look at other's work when I receive a favorite or comment. (But it's getting hard to keep up with the faves.) Thanks for those. I've started faving many more pictures which is an appreciation or acknowledgement of good work and a thanks for participating in the Flickr community.
I started photography with an Olympus (lasted about a year) and a Leicaflex SL, but now use Fujifilm X-E2, X-T2 and GFX50S cameras and a Mavic Pro (drone). I still use several of the old Leica lenses - most especially the Macro-Elmar 100mm lens - with the Fujifilm systems.
For me photography has become a renewed, retirement hobby. I enjoy all kinds of photography, from exotic travel to everyday things. The world has become digital and I use many software, especially inexpensive open source, programs for generating my photographs: Capture One, Lightroom, Hugin, Helicon Focus, Gimp, Luminance, ON1 to name some. Time-wise more effort often goes into manipulating bad photographs than actually shooting them.
