Kamamuta is an international company created in 2014 to serve as a place for experimentations in dance and movement theatre. Working with a physical language, and combined with skills from a background in corporeal mime, kamamuta’s work is marked by visually striking images and physicality. The creative process focuses on the performer and on their physical relationship with the other elements on stage such as space and time. The result is the creation of a touching landscape that moves and transforms the space. Exploring major themes of human nature such as relations, life, death, spirituality, perseverance and love, the story becomes as touching as it is comical, as simple as it is complex. The audience is taken into a dream-like and sensitive world.
