I've always loved taking and looking at photographs, but started taking them more seriously with the arrival of the Nikon D80 in 2006 - my first DSLR. I would until recently still use the D80 when I wanted greater portability than my Nikon D610 full-frame DSLR but have recently replaced it with the D7500. I'm not hung up on equipment though and firmly believe that it's the creativity and eye of the photographer that are the most vital ingredients of a great photograph. I also shoot with compacts (I love my Sony DSC RX100) and with the iPhone. My great regret is not joining Flickr earlier than 2015. My feed is a mixture of photos taken both before and since then. I so enjoy seeing others' photos and their incredible talent, as well as sharing my own shots. I feel excited about the years ahead.
