Just an average guy that loves the great outdoors, and always has. My new found hobby of nature photography was a natural fit. It gives me something more to do when I go out camping, kayaking, or just a walk in the woods or sitting on the back porch.

I work a lot of hours and spend about 10-14 hours a week just commuting so I dont get a lot of extra time to get out.

What I have come to love about nature photography is it has given me a greater appreciation for nature and wildlife. I have enjoyed observing and learning the behavior of animals as well as the technical side of doing it. I love being able to freeze an amazing moment in nature and share it with others. I hope to encourage others to slow down every now and then and look at the world around them and be more aware of the affects we humans have on nature, for good or bad.
