My first camera was a cheap plastic film camera that I got by sending in cereal box tops when I was 9 years old. I took it on vacation with me to Yellowstone and got two pics of Upper Yellowstone Falls. Then I left it in the back window of the family car in the summer sun and it melted. I was hooked.
These days I have an Olympus EM-5 and an assortment of lenses. I like landscapes, seascapes, flowers, insects, birds, animals and more landscapes. My photo aesthetic comes from looking at glorious color photos in National Geographic when I was a kid. Landscapes should be in color, bright, saturated and convey a sense of place. I shoot RAW files and develop them in Adobe Lightroom. I really barely know what I am doing with that, but I just watched a few instructional videos and jumped in. I encourage you all to do the same. I hope you enjoy my photos.
