I've been taking photos of railroad subjects since I received my first 35mm camera from my Dad when I was 13. As time has passed I have transitioned from slides to the digital medium along with using the Off Camera Flash technique with night shots of moving trains. Every time the shutter is fired you are documenting a little slice of history. Keep shooting no matter the conditions, what might be considered a throw away today will be gold down the road.
