Photography can be appreciated, admired, practised & taught in many different ways. When I see an image, I know that it is 1/500 of a second in time, or just 1/4 of a second. These moments captured are moments in time never to be repeated again, but the capture allows the imagination live the moment.

Having only started photography (on any meaningful scale) just over two years ago, I have found myself lost in a world of wonder that has eluded me for so many years. Whilst living in Aoraki/Mt Cook National Park, New Zealand, the sheer beauty & energy of the mountain & surroundings, I took my first photograph on a DSLR camera, and since then it has been a Journey.

The beauty about photography is about the thrill of the hunt, waiting for the moment, the moment waiting for you, the fulfillment of bringing home the RAW files to relive & recreat these moments. It is just one perspective of things seen through a lens. It is a constant learning curve that is engaging and exciting.

There are various amounts of styles to be seen here on the site and I have had the luck of working with a wide array of camera models & sizes using little or no equipment to high stop nd grads with long exposure images. The main purpose of my photography is to showcase the beauty of Ireland, both by day & night, from one perspective.
