Greetings. I have had an interest in Railways now for over 35 years. I started collecting Numbers in the Mid 80's and joined RESL in 1986 to partake in many of their Tours around Depots. Then, in the Mid 90's the opportunity came to join the Railway and i worked for SWT for over 20 years. Unfortunately things did not end well and i left under a cloud in 2016

A new chapter then started and i found a job locally whilst remaining in the Transport Industry. I drove for MoreBus based at Poole and worked for them for nearly 8 years including through the Pandemic.

I now reside in Cornwall having moved here in April 2024 hence the switch to Fotting Clay trains and HSTs

My main focus was and has always been Freight trains and i paid special attention to the 56's as the Fleet was being run down, hence lots of Class 56 images in that Album. The same applied to the Class 37's and now we have lost the Class 60's from frontline service with DB Schenker although GBRf and DCR still operate a small number of Locos

The Railway is forever changing, so one bit of advice i would give to any Photographer or Enthusiast is to do these things while you can as they will not last forever plus you never know what is around the corner.
