My real name is Ken and my Flicker name is Timbuckto (spelt wrongly on purpose). Nationality English. I was born in Leyland Lancashire and live for the past 45 years in Germany in a town called Erkrath/Hochdahl which is situated on the outskirts of Düsseldorf. I'm married to a German lady whom I met while I was stationed here in the army.

I'm retired,and since my retirement I have taken up my old hobby with photography again. I took up photography years ago but because of my job commitments and my sport (long distance running) I lost touch with it. My equipment in those days was a Canon A1 and a AE1. My cameras today are a Canon G 10 and a Canon ESO 550 D.

I love photography and enjoy every minute when out with the camera. I take the photos as I see them with no particular theme in mind. I try to keep them( most of the time) as natural as possible.

I enjoy my hobby and I am always open to critic on any themes that can help me make better photos.There are some fantastic photographers out there and I enjoy looking and learning from their works of art.

During the last two years I have made some very good friends the world over through Flickr .

Hoping to make many more friends in the future.

This is my second Flickr account. My first account I started in 2009 and had 221 followers and I had uploaded 424 photos. I could not enter my old account because I had a computer crash caused through a virus and I had to create a new E-mail address. Yahoo would not allow me to enter my account with my new E-mail address.
