Jane Taylor Hardy is a filmmaker, screenwriter, author,

actress, vocal performer, presenter, life coach, licensed

social worker, marathoner, poet, yogini, song

writer and mother. Jane obtained a Bachelor’s Degree of

Integrated Studies in Communications/Spanish/Psychology

from Weber State University and a Master’s Degree in Social

Work from the University of Utah, graduating summa cum

laude. She is a member of The National Honor Society of Phi

Kappa Phi by election of the Chapter at The University of Utah.

At one point, Jane found herself as a single mother working

four jobs, singing with the Utah Symphony, volunteering in

her community and often running a race a week – literally

racing day and night to try to accomplish everything she felt

she needed to. She came down with a serious case of acute

Epstein-Barr virus that put her flat on her back for four months

and triggered the onset of debilitating intestinal and neuropathic

symptoms leading to the commencement of celiac dis-ease.

Jane went through six years of misdiagnoses before finally

receiving a correct diagnosis. She shares the abundance of

information she garnered through her journey with others to

help raise awareness. Jane is an author and has written Gluten

Freedom – A Journey Through Celiac Dis-ease, Singularity – an

original screenplay based on a true story and Singularity - From Victim Consciousness to Personal Peace. She also writes poetry and has written several songs. Jane is a presenter and an accomplished vocal performer. She has numerous interests including acting and enjoyed performing in her first feature-length film role in "Chasing Home." Jane is a filmmaker and has written, produced, and been featured in a short film and several iReports aired on CNN and HLN networks. Jane created an iReport for CNN and entered it in the addiction iReport contest for the Jane Velez- Mitchell show Issues. It was chosen amongst thousands as a winner and aired on national television. Her iReport “The Riverman” was featured on the front page of CNN.com and CNN Mobile. As well, she has done true/comic video sketches on FunnyOrDie.com (“Video Justice,” “Utah’s Scarlet Letter”). Jane has also competed in numerous 5k and 10k races and has run seven marathons. She additionally enjoys laughing at life through cartooning. Jane is also a yogini and a mother of four.
