In Photography, I’ve learned a large amount about photography, one of them being that setting up a scene is one of the most important pieces of taking a decent picture. I found that I love bursts of color and selective color photography styles. I believe that as I go into the future, my knowledge of photography will grow. Most of all, I will learn what I love and dislike about taking pictures, the photography styles and the types of changes I can make to a photograph. As I took the Introduction to Photography class during my 10th grade year of highschool, I learned various photography techniques such as: studio lights, reflectors, window lighting and sunlight. The one thing I loved was learning how to get the right angle to get great lighting on the perfection point of any photo. During this class, my peers and others around the world have given me critiques and praises about my work, and I have taken the feedback to heart and will use this advice to improve my photography skills in the future.

One of my greatest successes, during this year I went on an Intensive. Which is where I take a week off from school and do something fun and I chose to go on a Photography intensive. During this trip I took a picture I called “Rays of Heaven”, which, won me a tripod. I believe that this has been one of my greatest success because it has excellent lighting, shadowing and composition.

In the future, I will use my photography skills to my best advantage. Possibly to enter photo contests, enter scholarship competitions, or just enter showcases to get critical feedback. I appreciate any feedback, good or bad I just want to be able to improve, achieve, and advance in photography. As I go into each new day, I learn something new that I am able to add to my growing knowledge. All in all, I have learned that my photos reflect my potential future as a photographer.
