Mature male - yes, I know, that's an oxymoron - from the American Midwest. Photograph mostly landscapes and architecture. I appreciate both high design and vernacular creations, Nature and that shaped by human purpose, the planned and the stuff that just happens. It's all part of the parade of life and photography is uniquely capable of recording that parade. That said, the making of pictures is necessarily a subjective act by an individual equipped with instruments to capture, edit, and compose. I generally correct perspective and often render in black and white in order to make evident the structure of space-forming elements.
