I am a photographer and writer based in Calcutta and have contributed to publications including The Globe and Mail, Al Jazeera, Roads & Kingdoms,New York, Yale Journal of International Affairs, Life Force, Photojournale, Lonely Planet, Jet Wings International and Outlook Traveller.

In my photographic journey, I have received a number of photographic awards including the Grand Prize in 'India is Global Photography Challenge' by Ministry of External Affairs in 2012. My images have been featured as book covers of international award winning titles, in galleries, photo biennials and in private collections.

My coffee table book on Ladakh 'An Antique Land : A Visual Memoir of Ladakh' with a Foreword from filmmaker Goutam Ghose has been published in 2013 from Alchemy Publishers, New Delhi.
