Hi my name is Dewi. I am Indonesian born Australian citizen. For 30 years I was convinced that Dewi is an Indonesian name which means Goddess. Recently, I've wikipedia my name and found out that the name origins is actually far far away from Indonesia. It's Welsh! And it's another version of David! It's a male's name..... What more can I say. Sigh....

It is also Hindi's name - another misinterpretation, because I'm not a Hindi.

I've been here in Australia for too many years, people actually asked if I could still speak Indo. Yes, I can! And I am still very much Indonesian. I am proud to be called both Indonesian and Aussie (Chinese to some people because I have Chinese look - just to add more confusion)

Currently homeless. Living in the internet world. Take pictures regularly - mostly outdoor. Usually rely on my husband to snap me out off internet and photoshop. Happy to travel anywhere in Australia for some good photos or a cup of earl grey and a good quality cake.

I've been taking many many pictures throughout the years. Some are good, some are bad. There are ups and downs. Just like my mood ;P But all are part of my experiences :) All are me.
