I'm a self-taught photographer whose dabbled in the art for several years. I toil under the banner of Oaken Sage Photography (oakensage.weebly.com) where I commonly work with various local bands and models and am also known for taking photos of couples, children, animals, cemeteries, onstage performers and nature landscapes, etc.

Although some of my work may seem conventional, I strive to capture genuine atmosphere and special moments. I like to be artsy and sometimes even a little odd. It's all about capturing that perfect expression on someones face, or being at the right angle, and choosing the perfect time of the day to shoot. I love photography; its my passion, power and pleasure.

This flickr page is by no means a collection of every photo I've taken over the years, but rather just an ongoing gallery of both old and new shots.
