I have always had an interest in Railways from an early age particularly in mechanical signalling and loved riding on trains.

I started taking pictures from 1984 around the Exeter area when the MAS scheme started and Boxes started to close.

However in 1992 I joined British Rail as an ATE then in 1993 I became a Signaller based at Crediton but now work as a releifman covering Exmouth Junction, Paignton and Crediton.

So from 1993 I have visited a lot of Boxes and taken a lot of of the pictures that you see on this site.
